Hotel Acty - Takayama (Gifu)

Our stay at this hotel was pleasant and we didn't face any issues.

When we arrived at the station we could see the hotel- it has a big sign on the roof. Although it was snowing it was a short, easy walk to the hotel. The reception was warm and we were given tourist maps and information. The room was large and warm and the beds were comnfortable. Breakfast was pleasant.

TV set, a fridge and a wardrobe in the bedroom. Characterful base for a weekend in Takayama! Nothing bothered me, the venue met needs...

I had a great experience at this hotel. The location was perfect for me as it was close to the railway station, making it convenient to explore the city. The staff was friendly and provided excellent service. The rooms were spacious and well-equipped with all the basic amenities I needed, including a fridge and TV. Additionally, the breakfast options were delicious and offered a good variety to choose from.

All in all, my stay at this hotel was fantastic and I couldn't find any faults.

Spacious room

They give us a room that stints with smoke smell, when we book for a non- smoking room. After our complaint they change the room, with less smoke smell. We finally, open the window to air the room thoroughly. After which the room is very comfortable.

It is a very good value. Kind staff, japanese bath, close to railway station & city centre.

At this hotel, we were pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness of the rooms, especially the family room which provided ample space for us and our child. The attention to detail was impressive, with amenities such as a fridge, aircon, and even yukatas provided. The location was also a major plus, being close to the railway station and within walking distance of everything we wanted to explore in the city.

All was well, nothing to complain about.

The interior design of the hotel, particularly in the reception area and hallway, may appear outdated to some guests.

Close to railway and bus station and not too far from all the other attractions (walking distance). We enjoyed the breakfast.

We would agree with some previous reviewers that the rooms, though clean, large and comfortable were a bit "worn".

The hotel needs some renovations. The bathroom had a strange odor, and the decor was outdated.
